MV Paul Johansen has retained all of its robustness but has evolved into an extremely comfortable world cruiser with a variety of luxuries and toys:
Main Salon and Gallery
The main salon and gallery are open plan and spacious. The galley includes granite counters; stainless appliances by Miele, Samsung and Lang; and attractive settings. The salon includes separate seating and dining areas in beautiful hardwoods and luxurious furnishings.
Although the pilot house is primarily for piloting MV Paul Johansen, it is a great place to watch all the happenings while underway or to relax while at dock or anchor. The view over the foredeck is expansive. A day head is located just off the companionway between the main salon and pilothouse.
MV Paul Johansen accommodates up to nine in three staterooms, although six is more comfortable. The master stateroom and two guest staterooms each have private ensuite heads with showers; double and quarter berths; and AV equipment with access to an extensive movie library. Hardwoods, granite and luxury furnishings adorn each stateroom and a Miele washer and dryer is located in the common companionway.
Three levels of decks provide ample and unique spaces to enjoy MV Paul Johansen to its fullest. The pilot house deck is an intimate space to watch the world go by. The upper deck includes a barbecue and large area with lounges. The aft deck has seating, tables and a bar. Finally, the fore deck is a great place to watch the dolphins surfing the bow wave.
MV Paul Johansen is equipped with a number of toys including two Sea-Doo jet skis; four Naish stand up paddle boards; considerable fishing gear; and extensive Scuba equipment including a Coltri dive compressor.
The crew quarters are accessed via a separate entrance off the main salon. The quarters include quick access to the engine room; an ensuite head; AV equipment; and the ability to monitor vessel navigation and systems. There is ample room to accommodate three crew.
